Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation | approx. 20 inspection days per year | Graubünden
The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation (ALG) is a department of the Department of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs. It comprises the four divisions Agricultural Measures, Structural Improvements, Surveying and the GIS Competence Centre.
The Agricultural Control Service Graubünden (LKGR) is an accredited inspection body according to the ISO/IEC 17020 standard and is responsible for agricultural-related inspections on ÖLN and summering farms. In the LKGR inspection team, you will check direct payment programmes, animal welfare, primary production as well as various private law labels.
You can expect a varied and responsible role with short decision-making paths as well as a committed, competent team within the cantonal administration.
For the Agricultural Control Service Graubünden, we are looking for two motivated and professionally skilled inspectors from 1 November 2026.
- Inspections of direct payment programmes (ÖLN, GMF, RAUS and pasture contribution, summering), animal welfare, primary production (animal movement, veterinary medicines, animal health, milk production hygiene) and private law labels such as IP-Suisse and QM Swiss Meat.
- Agricultural qualification with at least two years of practical experience on an ÖLN or organic farm. Practical experience in arable farming is desirable.
- Good IT skills
- Communication and conflict resolution skills and assertiveness
- Independence, reliability and a high level of commitment
- Knowledge of Romansh and/or Italian is an advantage
