The Burgerspittel is the retirement institution of the Burgergemeinde Bern. In a dignified environment, we provide care and support as well as numerous hospitality services for around 190 older residents. We maintain a warm welcome culture and approach employees and residents openly and appreciatively.
We provide inpatient care services for older people with varying care needs. Our care and support are resource-oriented and tailored to the individual needs of our residents. For residents without constant care needs, we provide internal "Spitex services" depending on the situation.

Pool employee with flexible hours (hourly wage) level AGS, EFZ and HF
immediately or by arrangement
- Support and relieve residents with empathy and commitment
- Implementation of care measures with a focus on the safety and well-being of residents
- Ensuring care documentation and documentation of nursing and technical activities
- Contact person for doctors regarding medical matters and other services involved in the care process
- Responsibility for the flow of information in the relevant area and the handover to the day service
- Ensuring care in complex care situations (only HF)
- Completed training as a health and social assistant or nursing assistant SRK
Level EFZ:
- Completed training in nursing (EFZ) with experience in caring for residents
Level HF:
- Completed specialist training in nursing (HF) with extensive experience in caring for and managing complex care situations
- The decision whether to accept the assignment lies with the employee, and upon acceptance, a confirmation of the assignment is received.
