- Configuration and administration of switches, routers, firewalls, and WLAN infrastructures
- Support and optimisation of LAN, WAN, VPN, and network security solutions
- Analysis and resolution of complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
- Participation in network migrations, rollouts, and demanding infrastructure projects
- Monitoring performance, availability, and security of the network environment
- Implementation of security requirements and continuous development of existing solutions
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Collaboration with internal IT teams, external partners, and manufacturers
- Several years of professional experience in network engineering or a comparable role
- Very good knowledge of routing and switching as well as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, and WLAN
- Experience with network and security technologies from, for example, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, or comparable manufacturers
- Knowledge in firewalling and network security
- Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and analysing complex network problems
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or comparable qualifications are a plus
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills

Responsibilities
- Planning, operation, and further development of modern network environments- Configuration and administration of switches, routers, firewalls, and WLAN infrastructures
- Support and optimisation of LAN, WAN, VPN, and network security solutions

Profile
- Completed training in computer science with a focus on system technology, platform development, or comparable further education- Several years of professional experience in network engineering or a comparable role
