Lease Accounting Specialist (80 - 100% - m/f/d)
"Ensurer of correct contract data and reliable financial processes in the rental and leasing environment"
Main task:
- You ensure the complete and correct recording as well as processing of all rental and leasing relevant data. In doing so, you ensure that contracts, adjustments and payment flows are accurately represented in the system (especially in RE-FX) and contribute significantly to compliance with accounting according to OR and IFRS16. In addition, you ensure that rental obligations are met monthly.
Tasks:
- Recording, maintenance and ongoing updating of rental and leasing contracts in the system (RE-FX)
- Checking contract changes and their correct representation in the relevant systems
- Ensuring structured and high-quality data recording as a basis for reporting and financial statements
- Posting and control of rental expenses as well as monitoring of timely rent payments
- Support in the representation and valuation of leasing relationships according to IFRS16
- Participation in monthly and annual financial statements (OR and IFRS16) in the area of rental and leasing relationships
- Reconciliation of contract data with the financial system and ensuring consistency between data and postings
- Collaboration in the further development and optimisation of processes in the area of data recording and contract management
- Close cooperation with internal interfaces (e.g. Accounting, Controlling, Real Estate Management)
- Support during audits as well as preparation of relevant documents and evidence
Profile:
- At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting
- In-depth accounting knowledge through relevant further training (e.g. accounting clerk)
- Proficient in SAP FI and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Independent, structured and fast solution-oriented working style
- Solid language skills in German, French and English
