The School Wetzikon
is one of the largest public schools in the Zurich Oberland and is easily accessible by public transport. Every day, more than 500 motivated teachers and specialists work in ten schools to educate children and young people, preparing them for the future. Employment level: 65% with 17 weekly lessons
Working days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, as well as one afternoon in consultation with the school management
As a dedicated professional in school special education, it is important for you to build a good relationship with the students and support them in a competence-oriented manner. Strengthening independence is at the center for you. You possess natural authority and guide the students lovingly, clearly, and consistently. You have a quick grasp and can respond flexibly to teaching situations. Is your diploma as a special education professional recognized in the canton of Zurich, or are you willing to acquire it? Your new school
We teach around 310 students with 17 different mother tongues in 16 classes from kindergarten to 6th grade. We are innovatively developing the teaching further. With reduced and personalized homework, self-organized learning, and coaching conversations, we promote independent learning. This is just as much a part of the school day for the dedicated and helpful teaching team as transparent goal orientation, play in the 1st cycle, and cooperative learning forms. With appreciation and solution orientation, we shape the school climate. Collaboration is highly valued at Bühl. Class teachers and special educators plan the lessons together. These can also take place in the art studio or in the cozy library. Many cross-class events are fixed points of orientation in the school year. An active parents' council and the diligent student council support us in this. The Bühl schoolhouse is reachable in five minutes on foot from Wetzikon train station.
