The Dean's Advisory Office makes an essential contribution to the smooth running of studies and offers competent support and advisory services for students and lecturers.
Your tasks
- As a member of our team, you are jointly responsible for the smooth handling of the Student Life Cycle for Bachelor students
- You provide information on general questions about the course of study, communicate in writing and orally with students, programme leaders and lecturers in German and English
- You advise our students as a competent contact person in complex study-related situations and process applications for exceptions. In doing so, you apply both the legal bases and the general practice of the University of St.Gallen proficiently
- You handle demanding administrative processes and system-technical tasks
- You bear the specialist responsibility for the administration of Bachelor theses and support students and lecturers with questions
Your profile
- Confident German and a professional oral and written expression in English
- Proficient use of common Office programmes and interest in learning and working intensively with further specific IT applications
- Good analytical skills that can be used purposefully for complex enquiries
- Precise, efficient and independent way of working
- Strong communication skills and service orientation
- Flexible personality with good team spirit
- Enjoyment in dealing with people
