Competent trainers support you and enable you to receive a solid vocational education with a high practical relevance. In the four-year vocational training to become a computer scientist, you are responsible for the setup and maintenance of IT systems. You deal with hardware and software of individual and networked systems. You work on servers, networks, workstations, and prepare software. You learn the basic knowledge in the basic training year at the external ZLI. Afterwards, you rotate through the various departments of IT services and participate in projects. Other tasks include:- developing, implementing, installing, testing, operating, and maintaining IT solutions
- installing PC workstations, printers, and servers
- assisting employees with questions and problems (hotline or on-site)
- extending device configurations, performing hardware repairs, creating backups
- operating, maintaining, and expanding networks and telephony
Your Profile
- at least upper secondary level (Sec. A) with very good performance in mathematics, German, and English; good assessment of work, learning, and social behavior
- interest and joy in technology
- logical-abstract thinking ability, high concentration ability
- reliable
- independent and systematic working style
