About the job
Responsibilities
- Technical and personnel management of a small IT team and deputising for the Eastern Switzerland/Ticino Service Center manager during absences
- Analysis, classification and resolution of hardware, office applications, SAP and server issues, including tracking and solving IT problems with subsequent feedback to the customer
- Active cooperation in migration and rollout projects
- Installation and commissioning of IT systems for administration and logistics, new stores and store refurbishments
- Translation from German to Italian (Newsline, training materials, etc.) in accordance with specific IT terminology
Requirements
- Complete IT education (technical degree or equivalent) with several years of experience in the indicated areas and in managing IT specialists.
- Excellent knowledge of IT hardware (PCs, printers, networks, tablets, smartphones, etc.) and software (Windows 10, MS Office 365, etc.) with a structured and independent approach
- Availability for on-call service (7x24), work outside normal hours (06:00-22:00) and on Saturdays, possession of a category B driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to Gossau (SG)
- Excellent command of Italian and German, both written and spoken.
