At the Chairs of Urban Water Management at the Institute of Environmental Engineering, ETH Zurich, a position as teaching coordinator is to be filled preferably from winter 2025, alternatively from spring/early summer 2026 or by agreement. The employment is basically limited to 2 years.
Job description
- Your area of responsibility mainly includes supporting teaching
- You supervise students in lectures, exercises, theses, and on excursions and coordinate the preparation of exams
- You work with various professionals and project partners from research and practice, which makes the teaching coordination excellently suited for further qualification in the field of urban water management
- A part of the working time is also available for your own further education
Profile
- You have a university degree (Master, Diploma) as an environmental or civil engineer with solid knowledge in the field of urban water management
- Preferably, you have attended the lectures of our chairs (or a selection thereof) yourself with interest
- We expect independence, good team, organizational and communication skills, as well as interest and enjoyment in working with students
- Good English skills in spoken and written form are required
- Good German skills are highly advantageous
