Skills

- Planning, coordination, and execution of on-site inspections at D-SIBs / medium and small-sized banks in various risk areas (anti-money laundering, suitability, cross-border, market integrity, operational risks, cyber risks, liquidity risks, interest rate risks, credit risks, market risks, Corporate Governance, etc.)
- Communication of the results of the on-site inspection to management and experts of the supervised establishments.
- Closely collaborate with other organizational units of FINMA as well as with the relevant cross-functional teams and specialists.
- Ensure documentation of results; oral and written reports
- In-depth clarification of regulatory violations related to supervisory law and the issues arising for the supervised establishments; development of proposals for solutions and measures at the organizational, personnel, operational, or financial level
- Coordination with other functions of FINMA, such as ordinary supervision, authorizations, enforcement, as well as the Division recovery and resolution.
- University degree in economics or law with further training in auditing (certified public accountant) or internal auditing
- At least 5 years of professional experience in auditing firms or within internal auditing
- Experience in project management and analysis, as well as very good organizational and coordination skills.
- Strong judgment skills and very good communication abilities with a convincing presentation at all hierarchical levels
- Very good oral and written knowledge of French (C2) and good knowledge of English (C1) and other official languages are an advantage
