Tasks
- Welcome guests with professionalism and care, handling check-in/check-out.
- Ensure quality control of rooms before and after stays for guest satisfaction.
- Assist in managing bookings and reservations, ensuring smooth service.
Skills
- Completed training in hospitality or related field; experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills in German and English, additional languages a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with hotel software is advantageous.

About the job
• Professional guest reception & care including check-in/check-out
• Quality control of rooms before arrival & after departure
• Efficient communication management via telephone & email
• Processing and management of bookings & on-site reservations
• Sale & creation of vouchers for customer retention
• Setup of the breakfast buffet including preparation of egg dishes
• Assistance at the lunch buffet to ensure smooth operation
• Serving guests in the restaurant and at the buvette
• Maintenance & updating of the website including offer management
• Creation of newsletters & menus for guest information & retention
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in the hotel or hospitality industry (preferably hotel communication specialist, hotel specialist or commercial specialist HGT EFZ or comparable qualification)
- Professional experience at the front office or in a comparable position is an advantage
- Friendly, confident and well-groomed appearance with a pronounced host mentality
- Very good German skills in spoken and written, good English skills; other languages are an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office, knowledge of hotel software (Hogatex is a great advantage)
- Organized, reliable and independent working style
- Flexibility and team spirit, even with changing tasks or high guest volume
- Enjoyment of a versatile working environment with close guest contact – from reception to breakfast service to newsletter design
- Creative flair and confidence in written expression for maintaining the homepage and creating guest communication (e.g. newsletters)
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
