The St. Antonius Appenzell Grammar School (www.gymnasium.ai.ch) operates as a cantonal secondary school with a federally recognised Matura, offering lower and upper secondary education. Around 240 pupils are taught at this traditional, humanistically influenced school.
From the start of the 2026/27 school year (1 August 2026), we are looking for a teacher for the core subject English as well as the Cambridge diploma courses.
Your tasks
- Teaching the core subject English at grammar school level
- Teaching in the Cambridge diploma courses FCE and/or CAE
- Collaboration in the subject department as well as in teaching and school development projects
Your profile
- Completed university Master’s degree in English
- Teaching diploma for Matura schools or in training
- Proven professional as well as pedagogical and didactic skills and strong social abilities in dealing with young people
- Enjoyment of teaching at a grammar school with a familiar atmosphere
