EHC Kloten is looking for an entrepreneurial, organised, and strong leadership personality with a great passion for youth ice hockey. As Youth General Manager, you will take overall sporting responsibility for the youth sector and shape its strategic and operational development in close cooperation with the board and the sports committee.

YOUR TASKS:

• Overall sporting responsibility for the youth sector of EHC Kloten
• Implementation of the sports strategy and its further development in cooperation with the board and sports committee (GM)
• Training & leadership
• Overall responsibility from hockey school to U18 elite
• Leadership and development of coaches, including organisation of coach training
• Implementation and further development of the training concept
• Organisation of coach training sessions
• Responsibility for athletics in youth
• Squad planning & scouting
• Squad planning from U14 to U18 elite
• National and international scouting
• Transfer management
• Responsibility for training contracts
• Organisation & administration
• Licensing and Swiss Olympic Talent Cards
• Coordination of sports schools and training
• J&S coach (management and monitoring of the database)
• Equipment management
• Planning & operations
• Season planning (summer/winter) with coaches
• Ice and game scheduling
• Communication & networking
• Contact person for players, parents and coaches
• Conducting parent meetings and information events
• Cooperation with partner teams and networks
• Participation in meetings and, if necessary, sponsor discussions

YOU BRING WITH YOU:

• Several years of experience in youth and youth performance ice hockey
• Leadership experience and pronounced social skills
• Knowledge in talent development, scouting and squad planning
• Familiarity with the Swiss sports system (Swiss Olympic, J&S advantageous)
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
• Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
• Strong communication skills in dealing with various stakeholders
• Resilience, flexibility and willingness to work evenings/weekends
• Very good German skills, English advantageous
