About the job
The Role at a Glance
You will take charge of the entire marketing for tibits, one of the most well-known and popular gastronomy brands in Switzerland. With a medium-sized in-house team and the task of strategically further developing the tibits brand, you will significantly shape its visibility and future.
We are looking for a leader with a clear understanding of brand and impact and a flair for sales, who orchestrates and develops a strong team while combining quality, efficiency, and profitability. Your workplace: Zurich-Seefeld, primarily on site.
Your Responsibilities:
- You lead and develop the medium-sized marketing team and create an environment where quality and collaboration thrive.
- You are responsible for the marketing strategy across all instruments – website, social media, SEO/SEA, PR and media relations, loyalty programmes, communication in the restaurants as well as advertising campaigns – and manage both internal and external specialists.
- You develop and implement a targeted sales strategy and position the tibits brand sustainably.
- You have experience in the conception and execution of events, collaborations, and partnerships.
- You keep the brand message likeable, authentic, and consistent across all touchpoints.
- You translate strategy into operational day-to-day business and ensure implementation.
- You work closely with the restaurants, are regularly on site, and see yourself in service of the operations.
- You actively contribute to tastings, product developments, events, and new openings.
Your Profile:
- Completed studies in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in a senior marketing role with responsibility for strategy, implementation, and staff management.
- Solid expertise in brand strategy & branding: You have built or significantly shaped a consistent brand world – from visual identity to brand voice.
- Holistic marketing understanding: You see marketing as an integrated system and can effectively orchestrate classic, digital, and performance channels – rather than just mastering one of them.
- Experience in advertising & campaigns: You develop and manage classic as well as digital measures and lead agencies – from the creative idea through briefing to success measurement.
- Strong communication skills in PR & media relations: You lead internal and external communication, maintain media contacts, and are confident in crisis communication.
- Data-driven working: You manage paid channels confidently and make decisions based on KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, and conversion rate.
- Strong presentation and leadership skills: You represent the company credibly and inspiringly, work independently, and know how to assert yourself.
- Hands-on mentality and product proximity: You understand the operational day-to-day business of gastronomy, know the Swiss market, and are well connected.
- Languages: German (native or equivalent); French (conversational), English.
- Connection to sustainability, vegetarian-vegan nutrition, or value-oriented gastronomy.
Instead of a Cover Letter
Don’t send us a standard letter. Instead, answer these three questions – briefly, concretely, and in your own words:
- Describe a transformation, rebranding, or growth initiative of a brand for which you were significantly responsible. What was your role, and what was the measurable result?
- How do you perceive the strengths and weaknesses of the tibits brand? What risks and opportunities do you see?
- If you were to lead tibits marketing: What would be your first 5 actions?
