Field Service Manager West 80-100%
Distribution center in Gland, Payerne or Stettlen/Bern
We offer you a demanding management position that will bring you into contact with numerous clients in the sector covering French-speaking Switzerland up to the Bern region.
Your missions:
- Direct supervision of six team leaders attached to Gland, Payerne, and Stettlen/Bern
- Indirect supervision of the department with a total of 85 employees
- Implementation of the customer service strategy of Gilgen Switzerland
- Monitoring and analysis of performance indicators (KPI) to identify potential improvements
- Ensuring that the customer service organization is efficient, close to the customer, and proactive 24/7 in the field through quick handling of failures, maintenance operations, and additions to automatic door and gate installations
- Monitoring and ensuring the execution of periodic maintenance
- Promotion of sales of modernization installations and maintenance contracts
- Support for major clients assigned to you
Your profile:
- Completed basic technical training, ideally in the field of metal construction, electrical engineering, building technology, or similar
- Further training in the commercial field and specialization in management/organization and customer service
- Several years of professional experience in technical customer service in the field of building technology, building maintenance, or budget management and restoration
- At least five years of experience in managing a large decentralized team
- Native French or German speaker with very good knowledge of the other language required
- Excellent service-oriented organizational skills, analytical, methodical, and proactive approach to tasks
