As part of our digital transformation, we are looking for the technical leader for our Databricks analytics solution by hiring a Principal Technical Lead Analytics - 80-100%. In this position, you will join a motivated team of 15 people composed of Business Analysts, developers, and play a central role in evolving our analytics platform.
The missions awaiting you:
- Design and lead the technical architecture design of the Databricks Analytics platform.
- Interact with architecture teams to challenge the proposed architecture and define a feasible LLD that meets business needs.
- Organize the developers' work to ensure the realization of the analytics solution according to the sprint planning with the PM, PO, and solution manager.
- Contribute to the implementation activities of data pipelines (hands-on coding).
- Control and organize code quality, especially for our suppliers.
- Describe in user stories the details of the technical specifications necessary for developers.
Your profile:
- Hold a higher education degree such as HES, university, or EPF in computer science, or justify an equivalent.
- Have at least 5 years of experience on the Databricks platform as a developer, technical lead, or architect.
- Design and implement modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Medallion) for scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Develop and deploy real-time data pipelines (streaming), with knowledge of integrations with Apache Kafka or similar distributed messaging technologies (an asset).
- Apply DataOps principles to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of Databricks resources (notebooks, tasks, DLT pipelines) using CI/CD tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Work according to Scrum methodology and collaborate effectively within agile teams.
- Communicate fluently in French and English (minimum B2 level).
