Task
As an IT auditor, you play a crucial role in auditing our clients in the areas of IT systems and IT security. Work with industry leaders from the banking and insurance sectors.
How you advance KPMG
- Conduct IT audits, including identifying IT-supported controls and process risks, as well as testing these controls
- Collaborate with clients to identify and understand relevant IT environments and IT controls
- Test the effectiveness of client-specific processes in the areas of access management, administrator activities, software development, and IT operations for various IT systems and IT landscapes
- Check whether clients have implemented industry standards and regulatory requirements, for example in outsourcing, business continuity management, protection of critical data, or cyber measures
- Apply your knowledge to strategically advise your clients during the implementation of IT control environments to improve IT governance and IT risk management
Why you are successful
- Bachelor's degree
- Interest in IT systems, IT governance, IT in general, cybersecurity, and regulation in banking and insurance
- Analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to convey complex issues between different stakeholders
- Familiarity with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is an advantage and initial experience with frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, or standards like ISO/IEC-27001 is a plus
- Excellent German skills and very good English skills
