Job description
Directly reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Manager is responsible for the production control system for steel and aluminum activities (framework, facades, locksmithing, cladding). He/she is involved in both internal processes and those of subcontractors and suppliers.
His/her main tasks are:
Developing and implementing quality control processes in collaboration with the operations managers and the Quality Manager
Supervising the quality of products, from raw materials to final production, ensuring traceability and compliance with standards (EN 1090, ISO 3834, ISO 5817, EN 12944)
Controlling and validating operations related to assemblies, welding, surface treatments, as well as specific operations such as VEC bonding
Coordinating and conducting quality audits at subcontractors and suppliers, defining necessary tests and controls, and monitoring the evolution of processes
Managing non-conformities, analyzing causes, defining and following up on corrective actions in a continuous improvement approach
Training and supporting internal teams in self-control and the application of quality procedures
Validating quality plans for projects before their launch and ensuring communication on potential impacts in terms of deadlines and compliance
Consolidating and presenting regular reports on non-conformities, corrective actions, and quality indicators
Occasionally participating in site interventions (assembly), to ensure quality follow-up and provide support to teams on site
Qualifications
Meticulous and methodical, you have confirmed experience in the field of quality, ideally acquired in metal construction or a similar industrial environment. You master standards such as EN 1090, ISO 3834, ISO 5817, or EN 12944, and possess solid field experience, allowing you to intervene both in the workshop and on site or with external partners.
Equipped with an analytical and organizational mindset, you know how to work autonomously while enjoying teamwork. You are recognized for your communication skills and your ability to unite collaborators around quality issues, and you are proficient in IT and reporting tools.
