What UNITY does, in one sentence: We are a management consultancy. Companies like Adidas, Audi, Bayer, BMW and others call us when they want to make their products, production or processes faster and more digital. Around 380 people work at 15 locations worldwide on this.

You won’t learn consulting itself with us. You will learn everything that keeps a company running commercially — and work with people who deal with industrial clients daily.

What you will learn at UNITY

• Marketing: Co-produce Instagram posts, maintain marketing materials, design website content, help plan events.
• Management Assistance: Prepare offers, customer communication, travel planning — also for colleagues at other UNITY locations.
• Human Resources: Create contracts, accompany employee onboarding, support recruiting.
• Financial Accounting: Record invoices, post bank statements, track payment runs.

All departments already work with AI systems for support. Here you will have the opportunity to learn how these systems function in a corporate environment and make your daily work easier.

• You will gain insights into the areas of Purchasing, Sales and Production through an external internship, e.g. at a company from the corporate group near Büren.

Vocational College: Your vocational school time will be spent in block model at the Ludwig-Erhard Vocational College in Büren.

What you bring with you

• Interest in economic contexts — you occasionally read about how companies work, not just because it comes up in economics class.
• The willingness to approach people yourself and ask if something is unclear.
• Confident use of digital tools and enthusiasm to learn new ones quickly.
• (Advanced) technical college entrance qualification or intermediate school leaving certificate. We pay special attention to German, English and Mathematics — with an average grade of 1.9 in these three subjects, you are in the running with us.
• Driving licence class B or BF17 — or the intention to obtain it in the first year of training.

What you can look forward to

• Training remuneration (gross/month): 1st year €1,050 · 2nd year €1,150 · 3rd year €1,250. Plus €600 gross annually variable upon full target achievement. You will discuss your goals with your training supervisor at the beginning of each year. Gross amounts, as of July 2026.
• A trainee group that deserves the name: 12 trainees and dual students from several cohorts. This is not a given in consulting — so there is always someone to learn from.
• Mentoring programme: A fixed contact person from the trainee group from day 1, independent of your training management.
• Biannual development talks with your supervisor — structured, with written results, not ad hoc.
• UNITYacademy from day 1: For example, attend courses on marketing fundamentals or project management.
• Trainee events: Sailing trip, joint Libori visit, escape room and much more.

And after the training?
The question you really want to ask: Will I be taken on?

Honest answer: Of the industrial clerks who have completed their training with us since 2020, 100% have found a permanent position in marketing, human resources, financial accounting or management assistance after graduation. We do not give a guarantee, nor do we claim that everyone gets one. But we do not train to then let someone go.

If you want to continue learning, you have two paths:

• Bachelor Professional (State-certified business administrator) — alongside training from the 2nd year.
• Dual/part-time study afterwards — several former trainees continue studying with UNITY today.

How your application proceeds

• Your complete application has been received by us.
• We will get back to you within 5 working days. If not, follow up — then something got lost on our side, not yours.
• Interviews: 1st meeting on site in Büren, approx. 120 minutes, with two UNITY employees (including assessment test approx. 50 min). In the 2nd meeting you will then meet our HR manager Judith and your future training supervisor on site (approx. 60 min).
• Decision usually within 10 working days after the interview.
