Specialist Gynaecologist & Obstetrician (40-80%) - Shape the Development of a New Practice
- 06 August 2026
- 40 – 80%
- Permanent position
- 8000 Zürich (stadtnah)
About the job
Do you not just want to join an existing structure, but help shape it from the very beginning? Two experienced gynaecologists are starting a new practice in summer 2026 - only the third personality to complete the team is missing.
A newly established outpatient practice with a clear focus on modern women's medicine is being created in the Zurich area (close to the city). From the start, structured processes, high-quality medical care, and a collegial atmosphere will be established. The development offers you the rare opportunity to actively shape processes, priorities, and collaboration - without entrepreneurial risk.
The practice is deliberately organised leanly, with efficient administration and a clear focus on medical work. At the same time, there is - if interested - the prospective possibility to take up a consulting physician role in cooperation with a nearby hospital.
Your tasks:
- Independent management of a gynaecological consultation in an outpatient setting
- Comprehensive care of gynaecological patients
- Active participation in the development and further advancement of the practice
- Collaboration within a small, well-coordinated medical team as well as with external partners
- Optional: Development of a consulting physician role
Your competencies:
- Specialist title in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FMH or equivalently recognised)
- At least three years of professional experience in Switzerland (training-authorised institution)
- Interest in actively contributing to a new structure
- Enjoyment of long-term patient care in an outpatient setting
- Team-oriented, reliable, and independent working style
Your benefits:
- Unique opportunity to help shape a new practice from the outset
- 40-80% workload with predictable working hours
- No night, weekend, or emergency duties
- Lean administration and focus on medical work
- Option for consulting physician role and operative prospects
- Long-term collaboration in a small, dedicated team
