About the job
Parkinson Switzerland has been committed for over 40 years to people affected by Parkinson's disease and their relatives. With our offers and services, we work to improve their quality of life. Parkinson Switzerland has more than 7,000 members and is active nationwide.
To strengthen our team, we are looking from September or for a date to be agreed upon for a Social Advisor (80-100%) for French-speaking Switzerland.
You will thrive in the following tasks:
- Advice on social insurance issues, Parkinson's disease at work (IJM, AI, LPP) as well as financing assistance, care, day structures, and stays in nursing homes (API, PC).
- Advice and support for relatives and affected persons: you determine the measures that could be useful to them.
- Provision of financial aid.
- Organization of seminars with an advisory dimension, for relatives and affected persons.
Your profile:
- You have training in social work and a CAS or BF in social insurance law.
- You competently advise people with a chronic illness and their relatives.
- You have solid knowledge of social insurance law and several years of experience.
- You enjoy working independently and within an interdisciplinary team.
- You stand out for a strong service orientation as well as a responsible, autonomous, and reliable work approach.
- You communicate easily in French and have good oral knowledge of German.
