Permanent Contract - IBM Power / AIX Infrastructure Consultant – Ansible Automation (60–80%)

About the job

For our client, we are looking for an infrastructure specialist to ensure the takeover and continuity of operations of an IBM Power environment.

The infrastructure is based on physical IBM Power servers hosting AIX, PowerHA and GPFS. The role combines system administration and automation with Ansible.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure the administration and operational maintenance of IBM Power and AIX environments.
• Operate and maintain PowerHA and GPFS solutions.
• Develop and enhance the automation of recurring operations with Ansible.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents affecting the infrastructure.
• Participate in knowledge transfer with the current consultant and document procedures to prepare for handover.

Profile sought

• Proven experience in administering IBM Power infrastructures and AIX systems.
• Operational skills in PowerHA and GPFS.
• Proficiency in Ansible for automating administrative tasks.
• Autonomy, rigour and ability to take over an existing environment.
• Ability to document and transfer technical knowledge.

Conditions

• Activity rate: 60 to 80%.
• Permanent contract.
