Automation Technician for Electromechanical Repairs on Locomotives
Tasks
- Carry out electrical and electronic repairs as well as maintenance on locomotives at various locations
- Locate and rectify faults and malfunctions using technical documentation and diagnostic systems
- Create work reports and prepare electrotechnical documentation
- Document technical changes to machines and update schematics
- Assemble, test, and overhaul electrical components and modules according to technical specifications
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an automation technician, electrical fitter, mechatronics technician, or electromechanic
- Solid experience in electromechanical repair and service work
- Knowledge in creating and adapting electrical schematics, ideally with EPLAN and ELCAD
- Willingness to work flexible hours and on-demand deployment
- Valid category B driving licence and confident IT user skills, especially MS Office
