The focus is on the à la Carte restaurant in the "Gartensaal" as well as in the rustic section, the "Schluuch". These two restaurants can accommodate up to 160 people. Additionally, the "Schützenhaus" offers three beautiful banquet rooms, the largest of which, the "Schützensaal", can accommodate up to 180 people. During the summer, an additional 300 seats are available in the garden and on the newly designed terrace.
We are looking for a
Service staff paid hourly initially on a fixed-term contract with option for permanent employment
Basel region, 20% to 100%, part-time, starting immediately
Your tasks:
- Preparing the service (mise en place)
- Cordial guest service
- Expert advice to guests and recommendations on food, wines and drinks
- Carving and filleting
- Serving food and drinks
- Independently managing banquets
- Preparing guest bills
- Clearing and cleaning tables
- General cleaning duties
Your profile:
You are a warm, team-oriented, resilient and flexible employee with experience, enjoyment of the profession, a positive demeanour and pleasure in dealing with our guests. You possess excellent manners, a confident and assured appearance as well as good communication skills. Flexibility and stamina are a matter of course for you. You have training in service or have already gained a lot of experience and bring a solid basic knowledge with you.
