Member of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (APEA)

• AUTJ46 - This is a secondary job.
• The APEA is an interdisciplinary judicial authority, which forms a section of the District Court, chaired by a judge. It decides in the composition of its president and two members. These must have skills either in medical, psychological, social or educational matters, or in accounting or actuarial matters, or in asset management and social insurance.

The activity will be deployed, depending on the profile offered:

• for the Boudry site: a position with social and accounting skills;
• for the La Chaux-de-Fonds site: a social worker position and an accountant position;
• for the three sites of Neuchâtel, Boudry and La Chaux-de-Fonds together: an accountant position and a psychiatry specialist position.

Persons of Swiss nationality or who hold a residence permit, under 70 years of age and having civil rights, and in principle domiciled in the canton for at least one year or, for persons holding a residence permit, for at least five years, may be appointed members of the APEA.

The remuneration is defined by the State Council decree setting the compensation of APEA members.
