Exciting tasks await:

• General supervision, care and control duties in the departments of the central prison
• Assistance with prisoner admissions and releases
• Contact person for prisoner concerns
• Assistance in maintaining peace, order and security as well as performing various administrative tasks

What you bring:

• Completed 3- or 4-year vocational training with a federal certificate of competence, additional qualification as a specialist in correctional services with a federal diploma desirable, or willingness to complete this course
• Resilience, composure, teamwork skills as well as reliable, independent working style, oral foreign language skills an advantage
• High social competence and emotional stability as well as understanding and tolerance in dealing with people of different backgrounds
• Willingness to work irregular shifts (including 3-6 overnight stays and 2 weekends per month)
• Minimum age: 28 years, impeccable character (current criminal record and debt enforcement register extract), driving licence category B

Your working environment

At the Lenzburg Correctional Facility , persons sentenced to imprisonment or custodial measures are cared for. The facility offers 380 custodial places for closed detention, remand custody and short sentences.
