The district capital Dietikon is a vibrant regional center and an important economic location in the rapidly growing Limmattal. The fifth largest city in the canton of Zurich has around 28,000 inhabitants. In six school units, around 3,200 students attend classes from kindergarten to secondary level.


For succession planning, we are looking for our new team member for the school properties starting August 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

• Building maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring the operation of building services and regular checks of all technical building systems according to instructions
• General cleaning work in the building
• Maintenance work in the surroundings (waste, snow removal, etc.) excluding green areas
• Various control and monitoring tasks
• Collaboration with school management, teachers, and administration

• Completed vocational training in a craft profession preferred
• Experience as a cleaning staff with special tasks or as a janitor
• Sense of duty and responsibility
• Team-oriented personality with good manners
• Used to working independently
• Good knowledge of German
• Driver's license category B
• Good PC user skills
• Enjoyment in contact with teachers and children
• Evening shifts possible
