As Foreman / Group Leader in New Construction (m/f/d)

Workplace: Volketswil (postcode 8604)

Where teamwork and site experience come together, you take responsibility – together for successful new construction projects.

For assignments in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for a competent specialist.

Your main tasks are:

Leading and organising smaller construction teams in the new build sector
Supporting the construction manager and foreman in daily site organisation
Assisting with formwork, concreting, masonry and general new build work
Ensuring an efficient workflow on site
Checking completed work for quality and adherence to deadlines
Supporting work preparation and site logistics
Coordinating materials, machinery and personnel in the assigned work area
Monitoring and enforcing safety regulations on site
Introducing and supporting new employees and apprentices
Active participation on site as well as serving as a role model for the team
Close cooperation with foremen, construction managers and other stakeholders

You should bring the following:

Completed training in the main construction trade, preferably as a qualified bricklayer (EFZ)
Further training as a foreman or several years of practical experience in new construction
Experience in leading smaller teams on construction sites
Independent, responsible and reliable working style
Team-oriented personality with assertiveness and organisational talent
High quality and safety awareness
Good German language skills, spoken and written
Confident use of MS Office and ideally BauBit
Resilience and flexibility in everyday site work
Motivation to take on responsibility and develop further
