We are looking for a Head of Calibration Technology who will lead, further develop, and drive innovation in powerful systems and customised mechanical engineering within our global organisation in the field of calibration technology.

What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- strategically lead and further develop the Calibration Technology organisation, promoting operational excellence and close cross-departmental collaboration
- take end-to-end responsibility for calibration stands – from new developments through retrofit and series solutions to lifecycle management and level 3 support
- drive system engineering and concept development in the field of calibration technologies, including definition and governance of system architectures
- define and implement global roadmaps for calibration systems in coordination with key stakeholders
- ensure compliance, quality, and budget responsibility while managing global interfaces with internal and external partners
What do we expect from you?
You:
- hold a master’s degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation, industrial or process engineering); additional training in systems engineering, manufacturing technologies, or management is advantageous
- bring several years of leadership experience in customised mechanical engineering as well as solid knowledge of industrial systems and production facilities
- have a good understanding of relevant industry standards (including ISO 17025), quality requirements, and a clear focus on total cost of ownership
- have experience in managing budgets, resources, and external partners in global matrix organisations as well as building high-performing teams
- know how to bring people together, align various stakeholders, and translate strategic goals into concrete results
- convince through analytical thinking, enthusiasm for innovation, and experience in leading transformation processes in calibration technology
- communicate confidently in German and English and operate confidently in an international environment
