As part of our development, we are looking for a dynamic, organised and versatile medical assistant, capable of working in a fast-paced environment where quality of care and team spirit are our top priorities.

Your duties

• Welcome, inform and support patients with professionalism and kindness.
• Perform ophthalmic technical examinations according to current protocols (OCT, visual field, biometry, etc.).
• Assist doctors during treatments and interventions.
• Prepare the operating rooms.
• Manage the administrative handling of medical records, scheduling and coordinating surgical interventions, as well as various tasks related to the centre’s activity.
• Manage medical equipment orders and monitor stock levels.
• Actively participate in coordination between different healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient care.

Your profile

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a medical assistant or equivalent training.
• Experience in ophthalmology is an advantage.
• You are organised, meticulous and autonomous.
• You enjoy working in a team and demonstrate excellent service skills.
• You know how to manage priorities and remain efficient in a dynamic environment.
• You appreciate working in an environment requiring excellent multitasking abilities.
• You are comfortable with IT tools and enjoy learning new technologies.
• You demonstrate flexibility, discretion and excellent interpersonal skills.

Work location

The position is mainly based in Yverdon-les-Bains. One half-day per week is worked at our Lausanne site. Depending on activity needs, this presence may occasionally be increased.
