The Office for Forests and Natural Hazards (UFP) is the cantonal specialist service for the forest and protection against natural hazards. The employees of the UFP are committed to meeting society's demands on the forest and ensure sustainable forest management.

The Office for Forests and Natural Hazards (UFP) is the cantonal specialist service for the forest and protection against natural hazards. The employees of the UFP are committed to meeting society's demands on the forest and ensure sustainable forest management.
You ensure that the Graubünden forest
- is able to protect people, animals and infrastructure,
- is a habitat for various animal and plant species,
- is a supplier of raw materials such as wood, water and energy,
- can also serve as a place of rest and recreation for people in the future.
We are looking for a forest training collaborator (70-100%) to start immediately or by agreement.
Tasks
- You support the training manager in organising and conducting inter-company courses and the qualification procedure
- As deputy training manager, you are the contact person for apprentices, trainers and forest workers regarding basic training and professional development in the forestry sector
- In inter-company courses, you act as a monitor and/or instructor
- You collaborate with the Bosco Graubünden labour market organisation
- Depending on your qualifications, you support the sector in other thematic areas such as occupational safety, organisation and implementation of inventories, data collection and forestry workshops
What we expect from you
- Diploma from a higher forestry education (university of applied sciences or forestry school) or equivalent training
- Experience and enjoyment in working with apprentices
- Initiative, team-oriented and reliable working method
- Good IT skills
- Driving licence category BE or willingness to obtain it
- The working language is generally German; good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
