About the job
Develop operational concepts, define integration and operability requirements, estimate their implementation, carry out associated tests and provide operability reports for applications.
In a DevSecOps approach, integrate and configure applications, design and implement operational assets (application monitoring, scheduling, automated technical tests, diagnostics, deployment industrialisation), while respecting standards, costs and deadlines.
Design new operations compliant with the sector model and best practices in automation and operations.
Support suppliers on infrastructure components and application installation in the target ecosystem.
Create implementation diagrams for the technical and application infrastructures of assigned projects.
Perform all necessary actions for integration, installation in development, testing and production deployment of applications on various technologies, ensuring optimal operability and compliance with the expected service level.
Order infrastructure resources and install prerequisites necessary for application operation.
Estimate and cost integration activities to be carried out within projects.
Advise and assist management and project managers on IT solution operability aspects, particularly during requirements analysis and definition of operational concepts.
Identify, define and model evolutions of operational assets, in line with architectural standards and the corporate framework.
Ensure continuous technological watch, contribute to industrialisation actions, write best practices and qualify new tools or technologies to simplify integration, deployment and operation of applications.
Intervene at the end of project realisation, notably in pre-production, to ensure transition to deployment, establish initial support, manage the backlog of the new system according to service level and project context, and support change management with operations leads to limit level 2 interventions.
Provide second-level support for production incidents and routine production actions.
Maintain operational condition of services by ensuring proper functioning of applications, updating reference data, securing processes and data integrity under real operating conditions.
Provide on-call support during standard hours at the request of the service manager or a service administrator.
Perform on-call duties and interventions outside standard hours as required by the service.
Provide second-level support for production incidents and routine production actions at the request of Run service managers (operations, IT production and printing).
Take charge of change coordination: perform impact analyses, establish schedules and rollback plans.
Lead and participate in due diligence projects (operations takeover).
Participate in Integration service projects aimed at evolving tools and practices.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement actions of practices and tools, notably to reduce interventions during the Run phase.
Strong knowledge of IT production-related professions.
Excellent understanding of technical and application architectures.
Ability to identify integration and operations engineering activities in response to a service request, as well as estimate the corresponding workload.
Complete autonomy to integrate an application on any type of technology.
Ability to design and evolve integration and operation of complex systems or platforms.
Mastery of creating implementation diagrams for technical and application infrastructures.
Ability to coordinate engineers on complex topics.
Experience in leading architect groups, notably for launching new solutions and initiatives.
Good knowledge of ITIL v4 processes and best practices, validated by ITIL v4 certification, particularly in the Service Transition domain.
In-depth knowledge of DevSecOps principles and associated deployment tools (Git, Ansible, GoCD).
Excellent mastery of Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022) as well as Linux/Unix systems.
Experience with a scheduling tool such as Control-M (designing production plans, creating scheduling chains, monitoring execution).
Experience with application monitoring tools: Nagios, BSM, Splunk, JMeter.
Good mastery of at least two middlewares among Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, IIS.
Skills in automating application deployments (yaml, Ansible).
Strong knowledge in project management and coordination.
Mastery of Shell scripting (Korn shell) and PowerShell.
