The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care in the canton and beyond.

We are looking for

In the acute somatic care area under the direction of Ms Dagmar Steinle, we are looking for a certified nurse for our modern ward with a workload of 40-100%.

We focus on the specialist areas of surgery and internal medicine.

• You will be involved in the practical supervision of trainees at various stages of training

Therefore, we want you

• You have a successful qualification as a certified nurse at HF or FH level or you are a health and nursing professional, ideally with Swiss recognition
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, are mandatory for this position
• Experience in the acute sector is desirable but not a prerequisite
• Enjoy developing yourself in a company that promotes learning and where good collaboration is a central aspect of patient care
• You are characterised by a high level of professional, social, self and methodological competence
• You act confidently and constructively in an interdisciplinary context
