The Censuy Medical-Surgical Centre, a multidisciplinary establishment located in the Western Lausanne area, brings together a group of general practitioners and specialists. It cares for adult and child patients, by appointment or in emergencies.
Established for nearly 40 years, the Censuy Medical-Surgical Centre has for many years offered state-of-the-art infrastructure serving patients and staff. Over the past five years, numerous renovations and developments have been carried out both in terms of infrastructure and medical equipment.
This reflects the philosophy of the establishment, which is to adapt to new medical practices and a constantly evolving environment, with the aim of providing comprehensive and optimal patient care.
Medical Assistant 80 to 100%
A key player in the sector, our centre is constantly evolving.
As such, we are recruiting for a permanent contract a medical assistant with a Federal VET Diploma in medical assistance.
She will work under the supervision of our head nurse and will serve the doctors of the medical centre.
The position to be filled is 80 to 100% with a salary in line with ARAM recommendations.
The medical assistant is an indispensable link to the smooth running of the medical centre as she can relieve the doctor of administrative and medical tasks. In addition to care, she is involved in laboratory work and radiology. Tasks also depend on the doctor's specialisation: paediatrics, gynaecology, or dermatology...
- At reception, she ensures the welcome and care of patients arriving in emergencies and by appointment, manages the telephones as well as the electronic schedules of the various doctors.
- In the laboratory, she performs blood draws and analyses to assist the laboratory technician.
- In the treatment room, she carries out various wound treatments, bandaging, application of various splints. She assists doctors with plaster casting. She performs ECGs, takes vital signs, inserts infusions, and cleans ears. She can also perform prick tests for allergy patients.
- In the operating room, she assists doctors during surgical interventions (ingrown toenail, cyst, abscess).
- She handles the processing of medical devices in our sterilisation unit.
- She performs high-quality X-rays of extremities and chest, respecting standard precautions related to radiation protection.
