Paint Assistant – Long-term Position in a 2-Shift Operation
Activities
- In collaboration with a motivated team, you will professionally prepare vehicle surfaces and carry out painting work on various rail vehicles and their components.
- You will process rolling stock by sanding, blasting, filling, priming, and painting to ensure a high-quality surface finish.
- Additionally, you will take care of the maintenance and repair of parts made from glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP).
- You will apply various 2K paint systems based on water and solvent and work with both AirMix and conventional painting methods.
Requirements
- A completed 3- or 4-year apprenticeship with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) as an automotive or industrial painter
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system (06:00–15:00 / 14:00–23:15)
- Good German language skills
- Using IT programmes and tools is second nature to you.
