The Kantonsschule Zürich Nord operates a long-term and a short-term gymnasium with all profiles offered in the canton of Zurich and the bilingual Matura diplomas German/English and German/French as well as a specialized middle school. It has around 2,200 students, 300 teachers, 50 central services staff, and eight school principals who contribute to the successful daily running of the school. The spacious school complex is centrally located near Oerlikon train station and will be completely renovated between 2024 and 2027. During this period, the school will be in a temporary school space on the Irchel campus of the University of Zurich.
Your tasks
Starting from the spring semester 2027, positions as secondary school teachers with special responsibilities are to be filled at KZN:
History 100 - 140%
Part-time positions are possible, the minimum workload is 70%.
Your profile
You have a completed university degree in the teaching subject as well as the teaching diploma for Matura schools or an equivalent professional and pedagogical qualification. You bring sufficient teaching experience at the gymnasium level and are motivated to take on additional tasks as a secondary school teacher with special responsibilities within the framework of class and school management.
