About the job
The clinic is recognised as an SGNOR training centre and offers you the opportunity to specifically expand your skills – for example, on the path to specialising in Clinical Emergency Medicine. At the same time, you can expect a senior physician position with a great deal of personal responsibility, a broad clinical spectrum, and a team known for its excellent collaboration.
The emergency department is professionally organised and deliberately kept lean. Instead of complex hierarchies, you will experience direct cooperation with the head of the emergency department and their deputy. There are no further hierarchical levels within the medical emergency team. This enables quick decisions, short communication paths, and a lot of personal responsibility in everyday clinical practice.
The medical team currently consists of around ten doctors. This includes senior physicians from various disciplines. The close collaboration with attending physicians from a wide range of specialties, some of whom practise directly on campus, is particularly valued. This allows you to benefit from short distances and rapid professional consultations.
The emergency department enjoys an excellent reputation, especially for the cooperation between medical staff, nursing, and medical practice assistants (MPAs). The team is described as collegial, pragmatic, and professional – qualities that make a decisive difference in a dynamic emergency environment.
You will work in one of the most attractive cities in Eastern Switzerland. The region combines a high quality of life with urban comfort, short distances, and immediate proximity to Lake Constance.
