Group Reinsurance is running the «Young Professionals Development @Finance Program» for the third consecutive year. This three-year term program creates the opportunity for young professionals to gain relevant practical work experience with a focus on Financial Accounting and Reinsurance Accounting. You will get exposed to work with various Business Units and other Group Finance Teams.
What you will do
First stage: Financial accounting
Cash & Bank
Expenses, Accounts receivable/Accounts payable
Closing activities
System reconciliations
Quarterly reporting to the Group
Second stage: Planning and Performance Management
Supporting planning & forecast process
Performance reporting
Third stage: Reinsurance accounting
Reinsurance Accounting
Processing and reviewing of statements received from the cedents
Cash settlements and payments
Intercompany reconciliation
During the three years, there will be the opportunity to do a stage in other teams such as Treasury, Group Reporting or Statutory Reporting
What you bring
Successful completion of commercial apprenticeship in 2025
Interest in finance and accounting
Intermediate level of English (B2/C1)
Able to work under pressure during peak times
Team-oriented personality
Problem-solving skills
Global thinking to understand the dependencies with other Teams and Business Units
