To strengthen our Global Marketing Team in Basel, we are looking for an inspiring leader as Global Lead Marketing Communications & Digital Platforms.
In this key role, you will shape global brand communication and be responsible for the strategic development of our marketing communication as well as our digital marketing and communication platforms. Together with your team, you will develop compelling brand experiences, strengthen our global brand presence, and drive the digital transformation of marketing. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, IT, and other international stakeholders, making a significant contribution to the sustainable growth of our company.

Your Responsibilities
- You lead, develop, and empower an international team in the areas of Marketing Communications, Content, Creative Services, and Digital Platforms, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and customer-oriented team culture.
- You define the strategic direction for Brand Management, Marketing Communications, Content, and digital platforms, ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy and commercial objectives.
- You continuously develop the brand strategy, positioning, core messages, and corporate design, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all markets and customer touchpoints.
- You are responsible for the development and implementation of global communication strategies, integrated marketing campaigns, and high-quality content to strengthen the brand and promote business growth.
- You manage the strategic development and continuous optimisation of digital marketing platforms, customer engagement solutions, and the marketing technology ecosystem in close collaboration with IT and other interfaces.
- You drive innovation through the use of modern technologies, automation, and AI-supported solutions to sustainably improve customer experiences, processes, and marketing efficiency.
- You establish efficient processes, governance structures, standards, and best practices to ensure quality, consistency, and speed in global marketing communication.
- You work closely with internal stakeholders, sales companies, as well as external agencies and partners, ensuring effective prioritisation and implementation of marketing and communication initiatives.
- You define relevant KPIs for brand performance, customer interaction, digital platforms, and operational excellence, monitor their development, and derive continuous improvement measures.
- You are responsible for the budget as well as the efficient use of external partners and resources, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Your Qualifications
- Completed university degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Digital Media, or a comparable field; further training or additional qualifications are advantageous.
- Several years of professional experience (8–10 years) in Marketing, Brand Management, Marketing Communications, or Digital Marketing, as well as several years of leadership experience.
- Proven success in developing and implementing global brand, communication, and digital strategies in an international environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams, as well as fostering an open, inclusive, and trusting collaboration.
- Experience in leading cross-functional projects and managing internal stakeholders, external agencies, and strategic partners.
- Sound knowledge of digital marketing platforms, content management systems, CRM, marketing automation, AI-supported marketing solutions, and customer experience.
- Experience in process optimisation, operational excellence, and successfully managing change processes.
- Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking combined with a pragmatic, implementation-oriented working style and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, as well as confident stakeholder management at all organisational levels.
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken; additional language skills are an advantage.
