Logistics Specialist/ Packer 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client is looking for you for the following tasks:

• Safe loading and unloading of trucks and containers with the forklift in the freight forwarding company

• Receipt of goods deliveries including incoming goods inspection and booking in the system

• Organisation of transports: measuring systems, ordering wooden packaging as well as creating packing and loading lists for containers and trucks

• Preparing and providing material for production orders

• Preparing and packing shipments for international shipping

• Support during inventory as part of the rolling stock control

What do I need to be successful?

You bring the following:

• Practical knowledge in export packaging, load securing and warehouse logistics is essential

• Experience in handling overhead cranes and heavy loads up to 8 tonnes

• Knowledge in container and truck loading

• Confident handling of warehouse systems, preferably SAP

• Forklift licence available, training in handling hazardous goods is an advantage

• Structured, efficient working style as well as the ability to set priorities correctly

• Good German skills, English skills are a plus

• Reliable, flexible team player personality who values collaboration
