Research Associate Digitalisation Teaching, Research and Administration

Your tasks:
We are looking for a committed research associate for the Centre for Education and Teaching. In this role, you will advise and support our lecturers in the further development of digital teaching and examination formats as well as in the didactically meaningful use of artificial intelligence. In addition, you will contribute to the university's digitalisation projects and advance data- and AI-related topics in teaching, research and administration. Your core tasks include in particular:
- Advising and supporting lecturers in expanding the digital teaching and examination offerings as well as in the didactically meaningful use of artificial intelligence
- Designing, testing and evaluating use scenarios of digital tools and generative AI in education, research and administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Life Sciences (HLS), including training, guidelines and best practices for staff
- Participating in digitalisation projects at the university, for example on electronic lab notebooks (ELN), research data management and the development of a digital Life Science platform
- Supporting data-related issues in research and teaching, taking into account FAIR principles
Your profile:
You are a motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about advancing digitalisation in the higher education context. In addition, you bring:
- A completed university degree (Master's or equivalent), preferably in computer science or a related field. An academic or professional connection to Life Sciences is an advantage
- Solid programming skills and practical experience in software project management
- Practical experience with generative AI as well as in consulting, training or coaching, ideally in a higher education environment
- Sound knowledge in the use and application of digital tools in education as well as an interest in research data management, FAIR and Open Science principles
- Ability to think interdisciplinarily, teamwork skills, service orientation and willingness to continuously familiarise yourself with new technologies
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
