At Eugster/Frismag, we are a global OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specializing in the development and production of fully automatic coffee machines and automation solutions for the world’s leading brands.

Our site in Torres Vedras (Lisbon) is part of this international network, working closely with our teams in Switzerland to ensure quality, reliability, and innovation across all projects.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Junior Automation Engineer to join our team in Torres Vedras.

In this role, you will support the automation team.

This is an international role with a connection to Switzerland, where your ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues abroad will be key to project success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Provide technical support to the Automation team on international projects
• Perform software and hardware testing of products developed internally
• Ensure fluent communication with the Swiss team, sharing results, challenges, and solutions
• Occasionally travel to Switzerland to collaborate directly with teams and projects

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Automation, Electrical, Technical degree, or similar
• Experience in LabView and TIA-Portal would be an advantage
• Experience in use of Windows
• English Fluent (German is a “nice to have”)
• Clear and effective communication skills in an international context
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and strong interest in testing and problem-solving
• Living in or near Torres Vedras
