The position is attached to the Operations Department. This department's mission is to ensure the stewardship and logistics necessary for the smooth running of all HUG, in terms of catering, cleaning and disinfection of premises, and laundry hygiene. It also manages the sterilization service, the biomedical and equipment service, as well as Cressy-Santé. More than 1,300 professionals carry out their missions daily with constant attention to quality, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.
Within the Operations Department, the Transport, Distribution and Warehouse Service manages the central warehouse, postal service, patient and goods transport, and the reception and distribution of goods.
Job Description
As part of your activities, you ensure the care and transport of patients as well as biological samples for all sectors and services of HUG within the required deadlines and in compliance with established directives and procedures, using a VSL in the canton of Geneva.
You also ensure the care, transport, unloading, delivery, and distribution of consumer goods, merchandise, medicines, equipment, and mail for all sectors and services of HUG within the required deadlines and in compliance with established directives and procedures.
Qualifications
Hold a C1 or D1 license in addition to category B. You have experience, equivalence, or a technician-level training in ambulance services is an asset.
You have 3 to 5 years of experience ideally in both activity areas (transport of people with reduced mobility and goods transport).
You have a good geographical knowledge of the city of Geneva.
You are autonomous with IT communication tools (Android - Internet - Outlook Messaging).
A minimum French level of C1 is required (a certificate may be requested).
Excellent physical condition is essential. You have a good ability to manage priorities.
You have a very good presentation and excellent interpersonal skills. You offer customer-oriented service.
Additional Information
Variable hours potentially including weekends and public holidays. Working hours from 6:30 am to 8:00 pm depending on the planning rotation.
