GHOL is the reference hospital for the Western Lake Geneva region with its facilities in Nyon, Rolle and Saint-Cergue. We are looking for a rigorous and committed professional to join our central sterilisation service and contribute daily to patient safety and the smooth running of the operating theatre.
Job description:
In your role, you will join a team involved daily in the reprocessing of medical devices used in the operating theatre and care units. You will work closely with the operating theatre teams, covering several surgical specialties, including orthopaedics, traumatology, visceral surgery, obstetrics, urology and ENT.
Your role includes:
- Ensuring the various stages of the medical device reprocessing process, in compliance with current procedures.
- Using the traceability system to guarantee reliable and secure tracking of surgical instruments.
- Contributing to the daily smooth running of the service and the flow between the operating theatre and sterilisation.
- Carrying out routine checks, regular maintenance and reporting equipment anomalies.
- Participating in continuous improvement, quality and securing professional practices.
Your tasks are carried out in compliance with sterilisation standards, good medical device reprocessing practices and current institutional directives.
Required profile:
You are recognised for your rigour, precision and sense of responsibility. You apply procedures reliably and understand the importance of traceability in patient safety.
You appreciate teamwork, know how to communicate constructively and are comfortable in a demanding technical environment, in direct contact with the operating theatre.
- Proven experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Comfort with IT tools is expected.
- Mastery of the Kenus system, or an equivalent traceability software, would be appreciated.
Education level:
- A validated Level 1 Technical Assistant in Sterilisation training is required, Level 2 would be an asset
- Or a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a medical device technologist
