Aurora Swiss Aerospace is an engineering center of expertise, specializing in advanced aircraft. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated 2026 Engineering Intern to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Support the migration of existing CAD automation tools from CATIA V5 to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (primary responsibility).
- Develop, maintain, and enhance scripts and automation tools to improve CAD workflows and user efficiency.
- Perform beta testing, debugging, and bug fixing of existing CATIA V5 automation solutions.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation related to automation tools and processes.
- Participate in project-specific initiatives, such as (for example) composite tooling design automation or the development of automated checks tailored to company workflows or specific program needs. These activities will be defined based on team priorities and the candidate’s skills.
- Currently enrolled in a degree in Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Strong coding skills in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., VBA, Python, C#, or similar). Knowledge of VBA is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in aerospace engineering and CAD-based workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of CAD platforms such as CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE (or equivalent CAD software).
- Hands-on experience with CAD automation and customization (e.g., scripting, macros, API usage).
- Experience contributing to technical documentation or process guidelines.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.
