Technical Buyer (m/f/d)

Amcor Flexibles Rorschach AG, Goldach is a company of Amcor, one of the world's largest suppliers of responsible packaging solutions. With around 300 employees, we refine aluminum foils and other materials into recyclable packaging materials. We are looking for a Technical Buyer (m/f/d) to support our Supply Chain team immediately or by arrangement.
Your main tasks
- Operational order processing for spare parts and component groups as well as services
- Independent conduct of negotiations and preparation of tenders
- Building and qualifying a supplier base as well as its support
- Demand determination and continuous optimization of procurement and storage costs
- Active supplier and risk management, including claim management
- Master data maintenance in SAP as well as deputy tasks
- Active support in internal projects
Your profile
- Completed commercial or technical basic training with several years of professional experience in a similar function
- Further training as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate or technical buyer is an advantage
- Very high IT affinity, especially in the MS Office suite applications
- Good SAP knowledge
- Confident German and English skills in spoken and written form
- Proven negotiation skills and assertiveness
- A high degree of teamwork and flexibility as well as a conscientious and reliable working style
