Field Application Specialist Downstream Processing (x|w|m) - Remote

Grow with us – Your tasks

• You advise our customers through product and application expertise as well as technical support within our Process Filtration portfolio

• You support sales in analyzing customer requirements and customer processes (including identification of optimization possibilities)

• You prepare training sessions and presentations for internal and external customers and conduct them

• You take over product demonstrations and application trials, accompany our customers during product installation and commissioning of our technologies, and train users to ensure smooth commissioning

• You monitor market developments including new market requirements and competitor products and report to the Application Specialist Management

• You support product launches

Your profile

• You have a successfully completed scientific degree in bioprocess engineering, biotechnology, biology, or comparable qualifications in the life sciences field; Master or PhD is an advantage

• You have initial experience in industrial bioprocess technology and in technical consulting of customers and users as well as experience in development and troubleshooting of purification processes

• You bring practical experience with the main applications Clarification/Centrifugation/Crossflow (Tangential Flow) Filtration/Virus Clearance/Sterile Filtration/Gas/Air Filtration

• You have fluent English skills, German is an advantage

• You are willing to travel (approx. 50% in the German-speaking Switzerland)Strong communication and presentation skills, intercultural competence and proactive collaboration as well as a motivated working style with the goal of finding solutions for our customers (both independently and in a team) complete your profile
