As a leading digital platform, Terravis sets standards in cross-domain digital processing of real estate transactions and connects the financial industry, notarial and land registry sectors for secure, efficient, and legally compliant property processes.
In your role as Senior Application Engineer, you design modern, responsive user interfaces and seamlessly connect them with robust Java backends. Developing modular frontend components and ensuring a first-class user experience are part of your daily routine. You significantly contribute to bridging the gap between design and technology, optimising client performance, and promoting continuous delivery processes – for maximum user-friendliness, scalability, and code quality.
These are your tasks
- You are a Senior Software Engineer and enjoy coding. This naturally also applies to requirement engineering, application design, unit testing, and everything else that belongs to it.
- Our full-stack web development offers you a wide scope of action. The main focus is on the user interface used by our customers and internal employees; in addition, you will also support some of the services used by our integrated customers or within the Terravis system.
- You will acquire knowledge of the entire Terravis system to efficiently fulfil your development work and be optimally prepared for support tasks; this also includes the proprietary UI framework in use, on which the Terravis user interface is based.

What you bring with you
- Completed computer science education and 8+ years of experience in developing Java applications: Java J2EE, HTML, Javascript, JQuery, XML, JAXB, SOAP
- Extensive practical experience in modern UI frameworks (e.g. Angular, Spring MVC/UI, React)
- Web services (Spring, REST etc.); data management (SQL, Spring data, JPA etc.)
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
- Confident handling of development tools (e.g. IDEA IntelliJ, Maven, Openshift, GitLab, SoapUI etc.)
