At the Zurich-Oerlikon site, they develop and manufacture systems for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy. At the intermediate site in Embrach, we are looking for an employee in incoming goods inspection.

Job Description

• Qualitative and quantitative inspection of incoming materials using mechanical, electrical and optical measuring instruments as well as checking the associated documentation
• Conducting initial sample inspections including the creation of initial sample inspection reports (ZP) and PPAP documents
• Creation of quality notifications to document deviations in deliveries
• Participation in internal coordination and meetings to ensure information exchange between the plants
• Carrying out special measurement tasks for development and quality assurance
• Maintenance and management of IQC measuring and auxiliary equipment
• Creation and adjustment of inspection plans according to specifications from R&D or TC

We Expect

• Completed technical vocational training, e.g. as a polymechanic, industrial mechanic or comparable training
• Technical drawing reading is mandatory
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g. casting, turning), measuring methods and quality inspection
• Fluent German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
• Good eyesight (also with visual aids)
• Good MS Office skills
• Knowledge in quality management / quality assurance is an advantage
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
• Clean criminal record (required for access authorisation at the site)
