Out of the Office - Into the Fun! - Qualitas AG

"All present" – promptly at 7:00 am on Friday (22.09.2017) we set off towards the Allgäu. The joint two-day company outing of Qualitas and Braunvieh Schweiz promises plenty of variety. The first stop is in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley in the small town of Berneck. In the cooperage, barrel maker Martin Thurnheer shows us his traditional craft of barrique barrel making. We are impressed and find his work admirable!

Of course, there is lunch, and in the afternoon we already reach Kempten. Here we experience a city tour like no other. We split into two groups. Group One is transported back to medieval Kempten during the theatre city tour and can experience everyday scenes including knights, prince-abbots, and witches "live." Meanwhile, Group Two learns about the teachings of Pastor Kneipp and the city of Kempten from a different perspective with health-promoting Kneipp treatments in ice-cold water. Compliments to the city guides and the Kempten Tourist Office, great tours and super easy organisation!

Exercise is a must – on the second day, after a hearty breakfast (thanks to Hotel Waldhorn), we head to Sonthofen to the Baumit Arena. Besides various "serious" sports, you can also do fun sports here. For two hours, six employees at a time jump into the bubble soccer balls and try, more or less elegantly, to score a goal for their team – not so easy when you keep rolling head over heels. Pure action – perfect!

On the return journey, we run a bit short on time but still make our planned stop at the Eberle family ostrich farm in Mörschwil. During the somewhat shortened farm tour, we experience the efficient rearing of ostriches from egg to fully grown animal. At the subsequent aperitif, we can also sample products from the farm's own production. Better late than never, we finally arrive back in Zug – our starting point.
